The one sure bet for a healthy lunch

-

Your report on the enormously high calorie and sugar content in supposedly healthy snacks was disturbing (MoS, March 19). It’s clear that many people are buying soups and wraps while at work, imagining they are going for the healthy option and baffled by why they are gaining weight. I think the lesson from this is that the best option is always to make your own lunch. That’s the only way you’ll know exactly what the food contains and ensures you won’t be consuming all sorts of dodgy preservatives, salt and sweeteners. And best of all, making your own food will also save you a fortune.
