SATURDAY MARCH 18

There were 23 scheduled programmes, three of which were the final Six Nations fixtures. Of the remaining 20, some 14 were repeats. The others included two films, a sports and a news show. Some 61% were repeats including No Words Needed: Croke Park 2007, about the first internatio­nal rugby game at Croke Park.

SUNDAY MARCH 19

There were 27 scheduled programmes, of which 22 were repeats, the others being a film, three sports programmes and an imported news programme. Some 82% were repeats. Programmes on during early prime time included Coast Australia and Wild Alaska.

MONDAY MARCH 20

There were 17 scheduled programmes of which 10 were repeats, 59% were repeats, but the schedule did include Aprés Match Of The Day, pictured far right, and Don’t Tell The Bride, pictured above left.

TUESDAY MARCH 21

There were 16 scheduled programmes, of which 13 were repeats. Some 81% of the shows were repeats, but the prime-time slots did include a first showing of an episode of the popular import, Homeland, plus MasterChef, featuring the penultimat­e task.

WEDNESDAY MARCH 22

There were 15 scheduled programmes. The entire schedule was repeats excluding an imported Euronews slot, meaning 94% of the programmes were repeats, including Aprés Match Of The Day from two days earlier.

THURSDAY MARCH 23

There were 14 scheduled programmes, 11 were repeats, one was an imported news programme, and overall 79% were repeats, though they included First Dates Ireland, picture left, and one of the repeats was the popular Dancing With The Stars.

FRIDAY MARCH 24

There were 12 scheduled programmes, all of which were repeats, apart from coverage of the Republic of Ireland’s World Cup qualifier against Wales. Some 92% of programmes were repeats.
