Vogue’s very public displays of affection

Model can’t seem to keep her love life out of the spotlight – despite vowing to do so just two weeks ago

VOGUE Williams’s vow to keep her love life private has been turned on its head this week after she stepped out on a series of very highly public dates with Made In Chelsea lothario Spencer Matthews.

The couple confirmed their muchrumoured relationship earlier this week and have since been spotted getting cosy in Dublin.

And it seems that Vogue, 31, is in such a romantic whirlwind that she has done a full 360 on her vow, just two weeks ago, to keep her relationships out of the public eye.

‘I am seeing somebody now but I’m not going to tell anyone who it is because I just want to leave that side out of the spotlight a little bit,’ she recently said.

‘I think I got burnt the last time… It was too much in the public eye and I don’t think there’s any need for it and I don’t want to have a

relationship like that again.’

Despite this, her new relationship with Spencer, 27, has been thrust very firmly into the spotlight.

Last week the loved-up pair pitched up at Disneyland Paris for the theme park’s 25th anniversary – where they engaged in some serious public displays of affection.

The couple even decked out in matching Disney hats and bunny ears for the added cute factor.

They were then photographed strolling through Dublin city centre this week, despite trying to camouflage themselves in matching combat gear.

In fact, since she split from her ex-husband Brian McFadden, 36, two years ago, Vogue has regularly seen her relationships leak into the public eye.

Not even a clandestine lunch date in a quiet London pub could escape the notice of prying eyes and ears who happened to spot Vogue and her then lunch partner rapper Professor Green, ‘getting cosy’.

One eagle-eyed onlooker subsequently leaked the details of their ‘secret date’ and Vogue and her rumoured new man consumed inches of columns.

Then last November Vogue donned oversize sunglasses in an effort to go incognito as she strolled arm-in-arm with actor Laurence Fox in London.

But the couple again didn’t go unnoticed and photographs of the pair enjoying a walk circulated.

In an effort to stoke the gossip flames Vogue dismissed reports that they were an item as she trotted out the ‘just friends’ line.

‘We went out for a drink, but that was it. It’s weird that people are putting us together and it’s very untrue,’ she said at the time.

Now, her latest relationship could be a very public affair.

The Dubliner, though, will be happy to know that the makers of Made In Chelsea, which made Spencer a household name, have told the Irish Mail on Sunday they have ‘no plans at all to film with them at this stage.’
