JAMES O’DONOGHUE (Kerry, 2014)

Within weeks of receiving his award, he went under the knife to address a dislocated right shoulder and missed the 2015 League campaign. On returning, he dislocated the same shoulder and was benched in that year’s All-Ireland final before having surgery on his left shoulder. He is currently out with a calf injury.
