The main man in 2013, but by the time Dublin regained the Sam Maguire in 2015, he only saw game-time coming from the bench. The reason? The secret was out as the top teams shut down the channel through the middle where he created chaos, exposing a skillset that was, at best, crude under pressure. He regained his place last summer but was dropped for the All-Ireland final replay and will be under pressure this season as he seeks to become Brian Fenton’s pillion passenger at midfield.
