Staff parking spots under threat at RTÉ – and Fergal’s not happy

FERGAL BOWERS, RTÉ’s health correspondent, pictured, had a virtual cardiac arrest when he heard staff car parking spaces are under threat with the impending sale of land at RTÉ’s Dublin 4 HQ.

Fergal, who raised the issue at a recent meeting, may need his defibrillator to hand as The Diary can reveal that the plans for the changes have now been submitted to Dublin City Council.

The submission reveals that the broadcaster is looking to refurbish and modify Montrose House, including works to the exterior of the property along with several internal modifications.

The development will spell the end for the car park at the radio centre – something which will no doubt dismay Fergal.
