Talk about escapism. In terms of the finishes, the textures and the colours, I’d have to say, I’m actually envious of this person’s talent and skill. On a tight budget the owner has completely transformed this 1980s bungalow. Using a dark colour palette and atmospheric lighting throughout, she has designed calm and peaceful spaces and a warm, welcoming and very stylish home.

Life is everchanging and so is your home. Gitte’s home is a perfect example of this. There is no such thing as a finished home, it’s everevolving. I love how the owner doesn’t shy away from darkness and uses metallic notes to add cosiness and warmth.
