It’s very striking in the landscape, it’s very respectful of its location as well. A fantastic surprise. Brave contemporary architecture. With a curved roof reminiscent of farm buildings in the countryside and windows and glass doors along the back elevation, the home has stunning views, a bright orange kitchen and a mezzanine area.

Ruth and Colin have managed to pull off what might have seemed a pipe dream throughout the years. Its barn-like roof is so suited to its environment, while inside is a true modern family home. It’s hard to imagine such a bold kitchen working anywhere else, but this simple space can carry it.
