Earned ‘free pass’

The comments by a reader (MoS letters, April 16) regarding free travel that enables OAPs to travel, socialise, etc., is correct but I prefer to call my free pass a pre-paid travel pass.

Those of us who have worked for almost 50 years and paid income tax, PRSI and all the rest have more than paid for their travel pass.
