Fianna Fáil gains two points, as Labour is static despite huge conference prof ile
Fáil is pulling ahead of Fine Gael, according to the latest opinion poll.
The party’s support rose two points to 28% while Fine Gael remains static on 24%.
The latest Red C poll for The Sunday Business Post, carried out this week, sees support for the Government-supporting Independent Alliance down one point to 2%.
Sinn Féin is up one point to 18% as are the Social Democrats up one point to 4%, while Renua is back on the scene on 1% from zero.
The Green Party dropped one point to 3%, and the Independents, whose support consistently fluctuates, are down three points to 10%.
Solidarity/People Before Profit (4%) and Labour (6%), which recently held its annual conference, both remain unchanged. The telephone poll of 1,004 adults was carried out between Monday, April 24 and Friday, April 28.
