Tributes paid to fatal crash teens
young men killed in a single car collision in Donegal in the early hours of yesterday morning had ‘everything to live for’, a local councillor has said.
The accident occurred when the car carrying five friends from the Buncrana area went off the road between Quigley’s Point and Whitecastle on the Inishown Peninsula at around 3.35am.
The three other teenagers were taken to hospital in Letterkenny and Derry where their conditions were described last night as stable.
Buncrana FF Councillor Rena Donaghey told RTÉ news yesterday: ‘It’s another awfully sad day… two young fellas just starting out in life, everything to live for …the community’s absolutely devastated …over the news.’
