This candid shot of a 25-year-old Marilyn Monroe was captured during a break on set while she was shooting Love Nest (1951), a comedy about two New Yorkers who buy an old, rundown building full of colourful tenants. Marilyn, who had fourth billing on the poster, played Roberta ‘Bobbie’ Stevens.
