Blame the banks
Once again Bill Tyson makes ridiculous claims about public sector workers (MoS Money, April 23). He states: ‘Ireland’s financial crisis was caused by pay levels being unsustainably high across the public service.’
I thought it was caused by lack of governance and irresponsible lending by banks but obviously, as a public sector worker, I would think that.
Tyson has made many outlandish statements about public sector workers. He should put more of his time and effort into regularly attacking the actual people who did cause the recession rather than his cheap shots at an easy target.
