I’ve normally no truck with any kind of re-hash, but Limerick’s finest re-recording some of their finest moments with the Irish Chamber Orchestra merits investigation. The new arrangements on old favourites such as Dreams and Linger are fine, but the orchestrations were there in synthesised form on most to begin with. In short, they got it spot-on first time around. Of the three new tracks unveiled – The Glory, Rupture and Why? – the latter, an emotional but not cloying meditation on grief, fares best.
