BREXIT BONANZA FOR THE GREEKS

Brexit may be bad for Ireland, but it has been good for the Greeks – as the EU can’t afford to have two crises on its hands at the same time. Greece has quietly won continuing support for its €86bn bailout package. In return, it has agreed to a broadening of the tax base, further pension cuts and legal changes so businesses can write down debts.
