Cheers for Bradley as he leads out heroes

TERMINALLY ill youngster Bradley Lowery led out his beloved Sunderland team in the arms of his hero Jermain Defoe at the Stadium of Light yesterday.

Chants of ‘there’s only one Bradley Lowery’ rang around the ground as the five-yearold, who is fighting neuroblastoma, was carried on to the pitch by the England striker.

Proceeds from the match day programme, which has Bradley on its cover, will be donated to a fund in aid of his family, who this week revealed the heartbreaking news that

the disease is progressing.
