Venice flooded with art this summer

Regular readers will know about my love affair with Venice. So I can’t let the weekend pass without mentioning that the city’s famous Biennale – the international art exhibition – opened yesterday, with Ireland represented this year by Jesse Jones. Concentrated in the Giardini and Arsenale districts of the city, it’s a treat for art lovers. But pace yourself, or you’ll find it overwhelming. And if summer temperatures (and flight prices) are too high for you, don’t worry, the Biennale runs until the end of November.
