CORRECTIONS CLARIFICATIONS

-

MR CIARAN O’NEILL Last Sunday, we wrongly used a photograph of the President of the Garda Representative Association, Mr Ciaran O’Neill, to illustrate the Bill Tyson column.

The image we intended to use was that of the chairman of the Public Service Pay Commission, Mr Kevin Duffy.

Mr O’Neill has no connection with the contents of Mr Tyson’s column or to the statements and views of Mr Duffy in the recent PSPC report.

We apologise to Mr O’Neill for any distress or embarrassment caused by our error.
