I’d love another baby: Claudine

Footballer’s wife back home for a charity lunch

SHE is the mother of two young boys but Claudine Keane is still hoping to have another baby.

At a charity lunch in Dublin’s Shelbourne Hotel this week, Claudine, 33, told the Diary she would like to have another baby.

‘I can’t imagine not having another child. I’m still knee-deep in nappies but Robert and Hudson have brought so much to us. I am definitely not thinking about it just now but I wouldn’t say no. If I was blessed with another child I would be delighted.’

The model looked stunning in a denim mini Balmain dress as she joined her mother Joan for the ladies lunch in aid of the Cari charity for victims of child sexual abuse.

Although she has been living abroad for most of the past decade, Claudine loves coming home to Ireland: ‘I don’t get to come home very often, so when I do I really try to be around family. My mum and I don’t get to go out that much any more but we have always been very close.’

Claudine has been married to footballer Robbie for nine years and said family time was the secret of their success: ‘We’re just like every other normal couple.

‘We go for meals, mostly with the kids, and have family days rather than anything specifically for us. We’re really good friends.’

Robbie, who left LA Galaxy last year, has been linked with a move to a Dubai club but Claudine said they had no firm plans yet. She is considering branching into fashion – but only for the right project as she might ‘get only one shot at it’.

She was also thinking of opening her own Instagram account: ‘Robbie loves it and I think I’m going to join. But in general, and quite purposely, I like to keep things private. I don’t want to be posting every day.’
