Comprised of members of contemporary classical outfit Crash Ensemble and musicians who have played with everyone from the RTÉ Orchestra to Kanye West, Sun Collective arrive with quite a pedigree. This music almost effortlessly encompasses elements of jazz, folk, classical and rock, and songs with one-word titles such as Burns, Tides and Rest sometimes feel counterintuitive in terms of the moods they convey. It seems likely this will be embraced wholeheartedly by fans of music of exquisite quality.
