Faletau a bright spot as he stakes claim to No 8

THE LIONS may have struggled in their opening match of the tour but Taulupe Faletau showed just why he can fill the void left by Billy Vunipola at No8. As our pictures show, Luteru Laulala broke from midfield for the Provincial Barbarians and fed Inga Finau for a free run. But Faletau, (circled above and below), was able to quickly track back and slide in on Finau right on the line (bottom), spinning him on to his back to prevent the try.
