Celebs queue up to live with Lucy

TV3 planning up to 12 episodes for new series

-

LUCY KENNEDY had better stock up on her pyjamas because her TV3 show Livin’ With Lucy is to be given an extended run.

Last year it ran for just four episodes but TV3 bosses say it is to get a 10 to 12-episode run this year.

The show, for which Lucy moves in with a different celebrity each week, started life on RTÉ before moving to TV3 last year.

A TV3 source told the Diary that celebrities were eager to sign up for the series.

‘People loved it and they are approaching us with a view to being on the show,’ a source said.

Lucy, pictured, is currently on maternity leave but has already done some filming for the series. And while it has been reported she may not return to the Six O’Clock show, she is still much in-demand at TV3. Although she lost out on her ‘dream gig’ as host of Blind Date to Al Porter, insiders say TV3 has ‘one if not two more shows’ planned for her.

Meanwhile, Andrea Hayes, right, is also set for big things at the station this year.

She is filming a second series of animal show Dog Tales.Andrea is also writing a book about her experience of making the first series.
