BEING a man in a woman’s world isn’t easy, but it can give the man an upper hand at times, says Brendan McDowell, right, manager of Dublin beauty brand B’Perfect. Chatting to the Diary this week, he explained: ‘Girls can get a bit bitchy to each other. So if you’re a fella, you can have an upper hand.’

If that comment raises eyebrows, they’ll be perfectly groomed ones.

B’Perfect started as a brand selling eyebrow kits and while it also sells more general beauty kits, brows are still what it is best known for.

Brendan’s B’Perfect wowed the judges in Dragons Den earlier this year, landing him with an investment offer.
