Rocker’s Westlife wedding

-

CORONA’S drummer Conor Egan booked a Westlife tribute act for his wedding party, the Diary can reveal.

Conor got hitched on Friday, June 9, to Niamh O’Reilly at a church ceremony in Dublin’s up-market Foxrock, surrounded by family and friends. The wedding party then retreated to Tinakilly House in Co. Wicklow for the first of the wedding celebrations. But on the Saturday there was a post-wedding bash in Residence Club on St Stephen’s Green.

While Conor may make his living playing rock music with The Coronas, he and his bride opted for a Westlife tribute act to entertain the guests.

The act arrived wearing sequined suits as they proceeded to belt out Westlife’s greatest hits in Residence.

The garden area of the club was packed as the wedding party sang along to the pop songs. Conor’s bandmate Danny O’Reilly was joined at the wedding by his mother Mary Black and his sister Róisín O, with Róisín posting a photo, above, online for fans.
