Fisher’s sleep illness
STAR Wars actress Carrie Fisher died of a serious sleep disorder and ‘drugs use’, according to her autopsy results.
The star, 60, died in December after suffering a heart attack on a flight from London to LA. The official cause was ‘undetermined’ but the coroner said she had sleep apnoea and was taking ‘multiple’ medications that may have contributed to her death. Sleep apnoea is a condition in which a person’s breathing pauses during sleep.
