They have drawn blanks in eight of their last 10 competitive games, but the Tyrone boss (left) pointed out that Dublin’s failure to find the back of the net against Carlow passed unnoticed. That might just be because with the All-Ireland champions that was the exception not the rule.
In Jim Gavin’s 26 Championship games, they have drawn just five blanks, netting 48 goals. Those are numbers that can only make Tyrone eyes water.
