Ban those Eiffel selfie sticks: now!

Can we please have a worldwide ban on selfie sticks? Firstly, you have the sellers pestering you to buy as you make your way from A to B in any given city. With two shopping bags of groceries, do you really look like someone who is bursting to fork out €5 or €6 for one of the yokes? And then you have all the eejits posing in front of every monument in sight, blocking the pathway for others. And no, the Mona Lisa is not improved by having your own mug in the same frame!
