Shaken pop star’s secret lament to her lost love Cara

LOVELORN singer St Vincent, the exgirlfriend of supermodel Cara Delevingne, has secretly revealed just how badly their break-up hit her – by hiding the message away in the lyrics of a new song.

The pair enjoyed an 18-month relationship and there were rumours of an engagement in 2016 when Cara got down on one knee by the Eiffel Tower. But they have not been seen together since March when they were spotted out at a Broadway show. Now St Vincent – real name Annie Clark – has made it clear she is pining over her ex in her song New York. The lyrics tell a story of disappointment, heartbreak and losing ‘true love’. ‘I have lost a hero, I have lost a friend, but for you darling I’d do it all again,’ she sings in the melancholic piano-driven ballad.
