Auckland is a city of winners

It’s been a big sporting week in Auckland. The city welcomed their triumphant America’s Cup sailors with a massive parade — but just to emphasise the importance of the All Blacks, after that one of the winning crew, Peter Burling, was happy to go to Eden Park for Kieran Read’s captain’s run.

Justin Rose sent a personal video message to the Lions before kick off. Speaking from the Irish Open, the Olympic gold-winning golfer said: ‘Come on you Lions! That comeback in the second match was incredible. Finish strong; that’s something I always think about on the golf course.’
