Gettin’ ziggy with Madge & Iggy

Iggy was a maniac. And yet he’s the one who’s still out there. He is an extremely cultured and well-read person, quite unlike the animalistic presence you see on stage. What I love about the Raw Power album cover [right, from 1973] is that he actually looks like an iguana. ‘Madonna [left] came up to me in the very early Eighties. She was a dancer. I just took a few snaps of her. I didn’t think too hard about it. I didn’t say, “Stick out your tongue, baby.” She just did it.’
