It’s a whole new ball game

GIVEN all the controversy over Sliotargate, it is interesting that Wexford and Waterford have opted for different brands of balls for this afternoon’s All-Ireland SHC quarter-final. Wexford have opted for O’Neills sliotars while Waterford have chosen Star sliotars. However, it will be random as to which ball will actually be used in the game and there will be a mixture of both types of in use over the course of the game.
