Andrew ‘Beef’ Johnston is a great character who embraces the chants of ‘beef, beef’ before and after his every shot. But he particularly enjoyed it when one group of fans welcomed him to the tee with a collective, ‘chicken, chicken, chicken’. Dustin Johnson had the misfortune to hit an Irish journalist in the face on Friday. Yesterday he smashed his tee shot at 16 into the back of one fan only for his ball to rebound to a perfect lie. Johnson found the green from there and holed a birdie from two feet.
