Rickie Fowler took aim for the green for his tee shot at the 346-yard par-four fifth. He knew it was a decent strike given the trajectory, but it was only when the noise of a shrieking crowd made its way back down the fairway that the American realised he had landed it within a few feet of the hole for what then proved an easy eagle.
