‘Her motto was: Be as naughty as you want... just don’t get caught’

AH, SO THAT’S WHERE HARRY GETS IT FROM!

HARRY hints that his wild streak may have come from his mother.

‘One of her mottos to me was, “You can be as naughty as you want – just don’t get caught,”’ he said.

Unfortunately, he never quite mastered the second part. Even at the age of eight, his mother complained in letters that he was ‘constantly in trouble’ at school.

Later, his teenage years were dogged by claims of underage drinking and cannabis use. Prince Charles grew so concerned that he arranged for his 16-year-old son to visit an addiction clinic to witness the dangers of drinks and drugs first-hand.

On one night out, Harry was barred by a Wiltshire pub for allegedly calling a barman a ‘f***ing frog’ and on another was said to have drunkenly wrestled with friends covered in vomit. He later hit a photographer after stumbling out of a club.

In 2005 he was pictured wearing a Nazi uniform to a costume party; and in the same year, a teacher at Eton College claimed masters helped him cheat his way through A-level art because he was such a poor student.

But most embarrassing of all was his trip to Las Vegas in 2012, aged 27. Pictures emerged of Harry cavorting with girls in a hotel room after a game of naked pool. One showed the prince bear-hugging a girl while completely nude.

The prince appears to have turned a corner since meeting his American girlfriend Meghan Markle and is now rarely pictured out partying.
