SoSueMe’s Suzanne Jackson in fairytale wedding to long-term boyfriend
DESPITE vowing to stay off social media on her wedding day, blogger Suzanne Jackson was back on Snapchat just minutes after she said ‘I do’.
Suzanne, 34, married her longterm partner Dylan O’Connor in a fairytale ceremony yesterday.
The bride looked stunning in a traditional princess gown with a plunging sweetheart bodice overlaid with lace, with fulllength lace sleeves and a full skirt teamed with a trailing veil.
The newlyweds had their first picture as husband and wife taken in the skies – as they travelled from the church to the reception by helicopter.
Dylan organised the chopper ride as a surprise for his wife to whisk her away in style.
On the night before her wedding Suzanne told her followers on Snapchat that she would be ‘missing in action’ on social media for a few days to enjoy her wedding iPhone-free.
She previously said: ‘We both have big families and we want to have a wedding with everyone who we love spending time with, which is a lot of people.’
The pair got married in Suzanne’s local church, St Patrick’s in Skerries, with her dog Coco acting as ringbearer for the nuptials. The lavish reception was held at the Powerscourt Hotel in Wicklow.
Suzanne’s father, who is a fireman, walked his daughter down the aisle in uniform. Her sister Carla acted as chief bridesmaid for the day along with her younger sister and three of her close friends. The bridesmaids wore matching coral gowns.
The pair exchanged vows as celebrity photographer Jenny McCarthy took pictures. Guests included model Michele McGrath and personal trainer Brooke Wright, who was best man.
Suzanne is one of Ireland’s top bloggers and has made a small fortune with her social media offerings. Last year she earned €500,000 from her SoSueMe blog and make-up company SanFran.
