Kim leads as Hall drops three in last three holes
ENGLAND’S Georgia Hall dropped three shots in her last three holes to hand South Korea’s IK Kim a huge advantage going into the final round of the Women’s British Open at Kingsbarns.
Hall bogeyed the 16th and four-putted the next hole, eventually signing for a two under-par 70.
That left the 21year-old tied for second on 11 under, six shots adrift of Kim, who shot a 66.
Hall said: ‘I played a lot better than two under, just on 17 I could hardly see the green.
‘I thought I hit a good shot but ended up with a hard putt.’
Meanwhile, Cavan’s Leona Maguire (right), the world’s number one amateur, carded a 71 to leave her seven shots behind leader Kim.
