‘Red card? You must be joking’

-

MATCH-WINNER Paul Pogba shrugged off the threat of a red card against Swansea and was still smiling after inspiring United to a 4-0 win.

The French international scored the goal of the game but knows he was possibly fortunate still to be on the pitch. He was booked for hacking down Tom Carroll in the 26th minute before clipping Martin Olsson’s ankle four minutes later.

Jon Moss gave him just a talkingto as Pogba waved a finger at the official (above) as if to say ‘don’t send me off’. The Frenchman said: ‘I was not worried. The referee came to talk to me and I laughed with him. I said, “Are you serious?”’
