Katie to fight for world title

KATIE TAYLOR looks set for a world title bout in Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium next month. It is expected that Anthony Joshua’s latest defence of his heavyweight title will be confirmed next week, and it looks set to be under the roof of the stadium in the Welsh capital.

Taylor (left) boxed on the undercard of Joshua’s memorable victory over Wladimir Klitschko at Wembley Stadium in the spring, and her backers want her on the bill again in October where she is likely to challenge for the WBA world lightweight title.
