Blues breaking new ground

ON Tuesday, Leinster begin a new chapter for the province when they set off to South Africa for two games in the expanded Pro14.

Whatever the abilities of the two new additions – and they have struggled to impress on their visit to our shores in recent weeks – there is no doubt that seeing Leinster in action in the land of the Springboks will be good for the game and its future growth.

We wish coach Leo Cullen and his troops in blue well in breaking new ground and serving as ambassadors for our domestic game.
