Jay McInerney Bloomsbury €10.85 This is the third novel to feature Russell and Corrine Calloway, and although it isn’t necessary to have read the previous two, McInerney’s description of the downward arc of their lives in middle age has extra piquancy for veteran readers. They’re not always a likeable couple but his sharp eye makes them fascinating.
