And Debbie McGee certainly appeared to be working her magic on her Strictly Come Dancing partner Giovanni Pernice this week.
The pair were seen smiling flirtatiously as they shared a coffee in Reading, Berkshire, close to her riverside home.
Ms McGee, the widow of Paul Daniels, admits that at 58 – more than twice the age of 27-year-old Giovanni – she is the ‘grandma’ of this year’s show.
But he has form when it comes to his dance partners, as he dated Georgia May Foote for eight months after they appeared on the show in 2015.
Earlier this year he said of relationships forged on Strictly: ‘You spend so much time with your celebrity partner, it really can happen. It’s normal... but if I dance with an 87-year-old, there might not be a Strictly curse,’ before laughing and adding, ‘I don’t know actually, maybe!’
The pair will dance the difficult paso doble to Be Italian, by Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie, when Strictly returns to BBC1 on Saturday.
