ANDY MORAN
SHOULD Mayo win today, this man will become an inspiration to every sporting thirtysomething out there as he will be surely named Footballer of the Year at the ripe old age of 33. And the thing is: this year he has shown his age at times but has always found a way to defy it.
Understandably, he has lost a yard of pace but he is just so clever, and he often receives the ball on his fourth or fifth run just to shake of his marker.
Moran is a true leader, very vocal and always barking out instructions to his men, but he always backs it up with his performance.
Technically, he is an exceptional player and with the ball in hand he will sting for scores, underlined by the 3-21 he has racked up this summer.
