JOE McQUILLAN will have to be on his game because this is going to test the match officials. I don’t think people appreciate just how physical this Mayo team is; they are ferocious tacklers and that presents a challenge for referees to decide what is legal and what is not. On the other side, Dublin have mastered the art of halting the run of support runners in what can be best described as ‘accidentally deliberate’ body checks. And with two teams who don’t particularly like each other, there is the possibility of some early flash points where McQuillan will need to show some authority before this thing gets out of hand.
