He told the Diary that when it comes to his role as judge on Ireland’s Got Talent he wants cheese, cheese and, well, more cheese. ‘I’m looking for crazy. I want odd, I don’t want it to be predictable. I want to find a great country singer. I want a comedian, I want dancing dogs, singing nuns, choirs, diddley-eye music. I think it’s going to be brilliant – it’s going to be fun.’
