Hook was right!

I, as a woman, take no exception to George Hook’s comment about rape. He simply posed the question – are we responsible for ourselves? Yes, unequivocally.

Did George condone rape or rapists… certainly not.

We have all left our homes with our parents’ voices ringing in our ears: ‘Mind yourself, take care of yourself.’

Has common sense gone out the window in this totally PC world? Are we all to be gagged in our opinions?

I tune into Newstalk and listen to George for his no-holds-barred show. I may not always agree with him but it certainly opens up discussion in our house. Louise Higgins, by email.
