Last week they picked the top players in men’s Gaelic football. They picked 12 from Mayo and 13 from Dublin.

I recognised Mayo’s 12 but I only recognised 12 of Dublin’s 13 names. I asked a friend of mine who was the person I didn’t know, with a frown on his face he said: ‘The 13th person? It was the referee.’ Kevin Devitte, Westport, Co. Mayo.
