Detailed powers to Limerick win

DETAILED showed no signs of a busy campaign catching up with her as she ran out a gutsy winner of the Martin Molony Stakes at Limerick.

Joseph O’Brien’s filly has been in fine form throughout the summer and displayed all of her battling qualities to notch her fourth win of the year in the Listed contest.

Cannonball took it up from the pacesetting Daybreak Roy turning for home but Wayne Lordan’s mount picked up nicely down the outside and came out on top by half a length as the pair fought it out in the final furlong.

Lordan said: ‘She is a progressive filly and ran a very solid race in Doncaster (fourth in Park Hill Stakes). She bounced out of her Doncaster run very well.’
