Alicia wears white as she parties with Fassbender before their big day
SPORTING a white dress and heart-shaped sunglasses Michael Fassbender’s wife-to-be Alicia Vikander was positively glowing ahead of their expected Ibiza wedding this weekend.
Beaming from ear to ear, Alicia Vikander followed her beau onto a yacht, where they partied with family and friends.
Fassbender was joined on the Mediterranean island by his Antrim-born mother Adele, German father Josef and other family members, while Swedish actress Vikander was also joined by her family and friends.
The couple are expected to tie the knot this weekend but details of the ceremony have been kept under lock and key, with guests reportedly told to arrive in Ibiza on a certain date where they would be collected and taken to the hotel.
Romance blossomed between the 40-year-old star of X-Men, Steve Jobs and Inglourious Basterds and Alicia, 29, when they played lovers in 2014 film The Light Between Oceans.

While they are mostly tight-lipped about their relationship, Alicia gushed about Fassbender at the Venice Film Festival in August. On her reasons for taking the role, she said: ‘I knew that Michael was attached to play Tom and I think he’s one of the most brilliant actors out there.’
However, the couple have strived to keep their relationship private, with Alicia telling Entertainment Weekly last year: ‘We keep certain things just between us. It was very easy to unite but that’s quite personal.’
Fassbender – whose family moved from Germany to Kerry when he was two – was seen having a ball recently as he relaxed with friends on the yacht and cooled off in the ocean. He appeared shirtless and later covered up in an open floral printed shirt.
Proving that bridal chic suits her, Alicia teamed her dress with flat mules on her feet, while her hair was swept into a tousled up-do. The Oscar winner, who is set to become the new Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider remake, completed her ensemble with dark pink lipstick and a white canvas bag.
