The very blingalicious lifestyle of Dee Devlin

SHE’S credited as the woman whose sacrifices allowed Conor McGregor become a global fighting phenomenon. And now at last its Dee Devlin’s time to shine.

The couple’s rags to riches story has been inspiring. As the story goes, Dee worked tirelessly to put healthy food on the table to allow her unemployed boyfriend to train.

Last month as McGregor took over the global boxing stage for his fight against Floyd Mayweather, Dee stepped into the spotlight in designer-clad style.

The smile on her face when she walked into the Las Vegas stadium in a Dolce and Gabbana leopard-print dress, showed that all her hard work scrimping and saving had paid dividends.

And it seems those dividends have helped the Dubliner develop a taste for couture. Such is the extent of her designer wardrobe that an Instagram account documenting it has sprung up.

Whether it’s a Cavalli gown on the red carpet or comfy Gucci joggers for flying on a private jet, Dee’s style spend has soared.

Superfan Sophie McKenna, who runs the Instagram account, totted up the cost of 20-odd dresses, bags and/or accessories Dee has worn to be up to a mouth-watering €80,000.

For instance, that eye-catching leopard print D&G mini dress for fight night costs a cool €1,750. The Yves Saint Laurent Classic Kate metallic leather bag she teamed it with, will have set her back around €1,300.

Sophie, 24, from Scotland, was prompted to start the Instagram page out of admiration for Dee, who she says ‘stood out as an inspirational person to me’.

The page also features clothes worn by McGregor’s sisters Aoife and Erin. And Sophie was ‘buzzing’ when they and Dee followed her Instagram page.

Sophie’s job as a jeweller meant she recognised Dee’s passion for bling and her collection of luxury watches. Dee has certainly put in the time to help McGregor achieve his fame and fortune, so if anyone deserves to spend the reported $100m spoils from the Mayweather fight, it’s her.
