BRITISH & IRISH CUP:

Three Irish provinces had wins in the A-team competition and although Connacht led Rotherham 23-10 at half-time they went down 23-28. Tries from O’Byrne, Coombes and Poland gave Munster a 24-6 win at Ospreys while Keegan, Connors, Dooley, Loughman and Larmour all dotted for Leinster in a 41-17 triumph over Doncaster.
